PITTSTON – The 2nd Annual First Baptist Church of Pittston Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, Sept. 28, at Sand Springs Country Club, Drums. The tournament will benefit the First Baptist Church Youth Group Fund for future leaders in Faith as well as the Keith and Warren Dudley Scholarship Foundation.
According to James Breese, pastor of the First Baptist Church, the event is looking for golfers, major sponsorship and hold sponsors.
“The golf tournament is critical in sustaining our Youth Fund as well as helping the Keith and Warren Dudley Scholarship,” Rev. Breese said. “We have a very active Youth program and the money we raise will keep the program running throughout the year.”
Registration on the morning of the tournament is at 7:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
A foursome is $500, an individual golfer is $125 and dinner only is $50.
The fee includes 18 holes of golf, carts and fees, hot dog and soda and dinner at the conclusion of the tournament with gifts and prizes.
A “Fairway to Heaven” sponsorship of $1,500 includes golf for four, a hole sponsor sign, name/logo on the cart, recognition in the program, social media mentions and name/logo on media and marketing materials. Three sponsorships are available.
A “Let Your Light Shine” sponsorship of $500 includes one golfer, hole sponsor sign, name/log on golf cart, recognition in program and on social media.
A “Swinging in Faith” sponsorship is $250 includes sign with name/logo, recognition in the program and on social media.
Prayer sponsorship includes a golf hole sign with name/logo and recognition in the program.
Family and Friend sponsorship of $50 includes name recognition in the program booklet.
Deadline for all entries is Sept. 13.
