WEST PITTSTON — The Wyoming Area Class of 2025 has chosen five girls to represent this year’s homecoming court.

The five homecoming candidates chose a football player as a pep rally escort and a male classmate not on football team as a game escort for this year’s theme, “A Traditional Warrior Homecoming.”

The 2024 homecoming court consists of, in alphabetical order: Ella Biscotto, daughter of Katelyn

Yanora and Joe Biscotto, West Wyoming; Cassidy Girmen, daughter of Maria Rico, Wyoming; Juliana Gonzales, daughter of Celeste and Armando Gonzales, West Pittston; Ella McKernan, daughter of Sandy and John McKernan, Falls; and Lyla Rehill, daughter of Kara and Jared Rehill, West Wyoming.

Ella Biscotto chose Kevin Wiedl as her football escort and Jack Golden as her game escort; Cassidy Girmen escorted by Anthony Delucca as a football escort and Owen Klaproth as her game escort; Juliana Gonzales will be escorted by her football escort, Jacob Morgan, and her game escort is Scott McDermott; Ella McKernan’s football escort is Sonny Sabatini and game escort is Anthony Giunta; and Lyla Rehill will be escorted by Michael Crane, football, and Lukas Burakiewicz as her game escort.

The Queen will be announced at a pep rally held on September 27 and be honored at the pregame at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27 at the Anthony “Jake” Sobeski Field.

The class of 2025 will also honor the court at a homecoming dance that will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 in the high school cafeteria. The cost of the dance is $10 and is open to Wyoming Area students in grades 7 through 12.
