WEST PITTSTON — The West Pittston Historical Society (WPHS) will discuss Halloween traditions through the decades in West Pittston on Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the West Pittston Library, 200 Exeter Ave. Host for the evening is Mary Portelli, WPHS president.
According to Portelli, the presentation will include incidents and mayhem that happened in Garden Village history.
“Guests are encouraged to bring along any photos depicting Halloween in West Pittston particularly those prior to 1970,” Portelli suggested. “We would love to have these photos emailed to us prior to the program if possible.”
Portelli suggests taking a cellphone photo or scanning the photo to send the WPHS.
