PITTSTON — The Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the American Heart Association, held a Lunch & Learn program at the Pittston Memorial Library on Friday with featured speaker cardiologist Dr. Jennifer Ann Nesfeder of Geisinger’s Intervention Cardiology Dept.
Approximately 55 people attended the program on National Go Red Day for Women’s Heart Health sponsored by the Insalaco Development Group.
Dr. Nesfeder spoke on the importance of hands-only CPR, women’s heart health, and prevention.
At the end of the program Dr. Nesfeder fielded questions from the audience.
Kristen Martin, American Heart Association development director, ended the program talking about CPR followed by a demonstration on proper CPR technique.
A light lunch was served, followed by time for networking.
