During the month of November, Student Council of Wyoming Area Catholic School held a collection for the Veterans Hospital in Wilkes-Barre. Each class brought in designated items to contribute to this service project. Items collected were word finds and large print books, body wash, sketch books and notebooks, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes and denture cleaner/cream, deodorant and shaving cream. boxed greeting cards and a book or roll of stamps, large print books and large print playing cards. Student Council thanks all the students and community of Wyoming Area Catholic School who donated to the veterans. Items were received by Joann Gainard, representative from the Veteran’s Hospital in Wilkes-Barre who works with the homeless veterans.
