“Over the past 19 years, the City of Pittston has experienced an exciting revitalization. What was once a boarded-up, vacant Main Street is now a vibrant economic center that continues expansive growth. This growth of the downtown tax base has provided the financial means to begin investing in our neighborhoods and parks.
“I am confident that the same principles that have successfully revitalized our downtown will also revitalize our neighborhoods. The past three years have provided tangible proof of this. Over the next several weeks, I will outline multiple steps for your review that will result in full revitalization of our neighborhoods, and continued economic prosperity of our downtown.
“Almost 20 years to the date of my first announcement, I am proud to say that my energy and passion for improving this city have only grown, and I now have 20 years of experience and relationships in northeastern Pennsylvania, Harrisburg and Washington, D.C. that I will continue to leverage for the betterment of our city, the city I love. Further, I am proud to announce that my running mates will include incumbent councilmen Attorney Mike Lombardo, my cousin, and incumbent councilman Ken Bangs.
“I respectfully invite you to join us so we can continue the progress…together. The best is yet to come.”
