After spring-like weather for most of the week, it’s going to feel a lot more like winter in the Wyoming Valley this weekend.

The region could even get a little snow.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 38 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and overcast skies were reported.

Mostly cloudy skies will gradually clear today. Winds could also gust as high as 39 mph. Today’s high will be near 40.

Partly cloudy skies are expected tonight, along with a chance of flurries after 3 a.m. The low will be around 24.

Friday will bring mostly cloudy skies to round out the week, along with a chance of flurries before 11 a.m. and a chance of snow showers between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Less than half an inch of snow accumulation is expected, and the high will be near 34.

Mostly cloudy skies will carry over into Friday night, along with a chance of flurries before 7 p.m. The low will be around 16.

Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Saturday, with a high near 28. Mostly clear skies will follow into Saturday night, with a low around 12.

Sunny skies will wrap up the weekend on Sunday, with a high near 37.

Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Sunday night, along with a chance of flurries before 8 p.m. The low will be around 30.
