PITTSTON — ALDI supermarket on the Pittston Bypass has reopened after an expansion project shut the store down for several weeks this past summer.
The store received a major overhaul, including a complete facelift and remodel. Hours of operation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
The updated store provides an improved layout and ample refrigeration to accommodate an expanded fresh and convenient food selection. It also features open ceilings and natural lighting, and it is built with environmentally friendly materials.
Like all ALDI stores, the remodeled Pittston location still offers a streamlined shopping experience and low prices in every aisle, but customers will notice the elevated design.
“We have invested in remodeling our stores to ensure the design and experience match the high quality of our products,” said Bob Grammer, Center Valley regional vice president for ALDI. “With the updated Pittston store, shoppers will notice a new look with more fresh and convenient items at the reliably low prices ALDI fans rave about.”
The Pittston store features an open ceiling and natural lighting, and they are built with environmentally friendly materials.
Also available at the Pittston location is curbside grocery pickup service. With more than 2,000 stores across 37 states, ALDI is on track to become the third largest grocery retailer by store count by the end of 2022.
