Announcement is made of the engagement and upcoming marriage of Lindsay Marie Webb to George Joseph Aulisio, both of Scranton.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Sheldon and Mary Webb, Moosic. She is a graduate of Riverside Junior-Senior High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from King’s College.
She received a master’s degree in teaching English to speakers of other languages from Wilkes University and is an elementary librarian at East Stroudsburg Elementary.
The prospective groom is the son of George and Julie Aulisio, Old Forge. He is a graduate of Old Forge High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Bloomsburg University. He received a master’s degree in library and information science from Drexel University and a master’s degree in philosophy and metaphysics from University of Pennsylvania.
He is pursuing a doctorate in philosophy at Temple University and is an associate professor and public services librarian at The University of Scranton.
The wedding is set for 1 p.m. June 13 in Prince of Peace Parish, Old Forge.
