The Wyoming Area School District elementary schools will administer the following Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) Tests in the upcoming weeks:
• English/Language Arts testing will be held Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16 with make-ups on Friday, April 1 for students in grades, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
• Mathematics testing will be given on Tuesday, April 21 through Thursday, April 23 with make-ups on Friday, April 24, for students in grades 3 through 6.
• The PSSA Science Assessment for the students in fourth grade will administered on Tuesday, April 28 and Wednesday, April 29 with make-ups on Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1.
A parent information sheet with frequently asked questions and answers about the PSSAs was recently sent home with all students. For further information, contact the building principals or guidance counselors.
