FALLS — John Zelonis’ ace on the sixth hole at Emanon Country Club led the Red Mill to a 3-0 win over O’Connor Plumbing in the Thursday Night League. Zelonis shot an even-par 34 and Len Benfante shot a 35. Bob Lampman (37) and Jerry Gavin (38) led O’Connors.
Falls Bridge Deli swept Central Air Freight, 3-0, behind Mark Eyet’s 36 and Jim Charney’s 38. Pip McDermott had a 38 for Central Air Freight.
Ashley Machine defeated St. Stephen’s Booster Club, 3-0, with John Mulhern firing a 36 and Len Coleman shooting a 37. Bob Crofton Jr. lead St. Stephens with a 38.
Bryan’s Contruction took down Selenski Insurance, 3-0, thanks to Tom Bryan Jr.’s 37 and Robbie Rosencrans’ 42. Frank Plis was low for Selenski’s with a 41.
Zelonis’ ace was on the 152-yard sixth hole at Emanon. He used a seven iron. Witnesses were Alex Brogna, Sean Kerrigan and Jerry Gavin.
