Wyoming Borough has renamed the Butler Street Park the John Jude Bolin Memorial Park, Mayor Bob Boyer has announced.

The park is named in honor of Wyoming resident John Bolin, who recently died of cancer, Boyer said in a news release.

Bolin was a Wyoming firefighter, a member of the Wyoming Area School Board, a trustee at the Wyoming Free Library and director of recreation for Wyoming Borough.
