Cameron Kohut, of Jenkins Township, recently won the Moosic Mountain Babe Ruth League championship while playing for Minooka Subaru’s 11-12-year-old team.
On July 9, Minooka beat Valley View, 7-0, for the championship. In that game, Kohut had two hits, including a double off the left field fence. He had two RBI and scored a run in the victory. He was also selected to the All-Star team.
