A is for the apple, we use for cider

B is for the bats, which are spookier than the spider

C is for the cat, which is usually black

F is for Frankenstein, who makes us afraid

G is for the ghost, who always says “BOO!”

H is for the haunted house, anything but new

I is for the ice-pick, hanging on the wall

J is for the jack-o’-lantern, which makes our tummies crawl

K is for the kids, who disguise their faces

L is for the lunatic, who causes disgraces

M is for the monster, locked up in chains

N is for the noise, against the windowpanes

O is the owl, who gives a loud hoot

P is for the pumpkin, all trick-or-treat salute

Q is for the quality of costumes and candy

R is for remembrance of Halloween so fine and dandy

S is for the scarecrow, all carefree and fun

T is for the terror, felt by everyone

U is for the ugliness of each wicked trick

V is for the vampire, searching for a neck to prick

W is for the witch, who usually casts a spell

X is for the X-ray, we needed when we fell

Y is for the yards, all covered with beautiful mom and flowers

Z is for ZAK the wizard, full of colorful powers

Now all this time I hope you know more, about this haunting town
