James and Julie (LoBrutto) Chimento recently celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on Sept. 25. The couple was married in St. Rocco’s Church, Pittston, by the late Fr. Vincent Bonomo.
The Chimentos have been blessed with five children: Marie Marranca, West Pittston; John Chimento, Yatesville; Charles Chimento, Pittston; Lucille Chimento, Wilkes-Barre; and Juliann Emmett, Pittston.
They have nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A family dinner was held in their honor.
