PITTSTON — The First Baptist Church will hold its third annual golf tournament on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Sand Springs Country Club, Drums.

There will be a shotgun start at 8 a.m. followed by lunch and awards. The tournament offers raffle prizes, a silent auction and Blackstone grill donated by Lowe’s.

On-course contests include the longest drive, closest to the pin, and a 50/50 ball drop. Bonner Chevrolet is sponsoring a hole-in-one contest.

“The event will benefit the church youth program as well as contribute to the Warren and Keith Dudley Scholarship Fund for a graduating high school senior,” Glenn Zimmerman, tournament chair, said. “We are accepting sponsors and will take golfers up to tournament day.
