AVOCA — The last garbage collection day for Waste Management will be Thursday, Jan. 26 and it will also be the final day garbage is collected on Thursday of each week.
After this date, residents are to start placing garbage curbside Sunday nights as Monday will be the new weekly collection day starting Monday, Jan. 30.
The new haulers for the borough will be J.P.Mascaro & Sons. If garbage is missed, call Micaela at J.P. Mascaro & Sons at 1-800-243-7575.
