PITTSTON — The Pittston City refuse/trash bills for 2017-2018 will be mailed Monday, April 14.

The payment is due within 30 days of the issue date on the bill. Old stickers (red and white) can be used through May 26 and new stickers (blue and white) must be used beginning the week of May 29.

When making the payment, be sure to bring the mail or the bill. Residents who did not receive a refuse bill are asked to notify the city treasurer’s office at 570-654-1090.

A note to city landlords — all refuse/trash bills are send to homeowners/landlords. If a tenant is responsible for the trash payment, they must be given the bill so they can bring, or mail it, in with their payment.
