Phoenix Performing Arts Centre in Duryea presents ‘Disenchanted!’ April 21-23

DURYEA — The Phoenix Performing Arts Centre will present “Disenchanted!” Friday, April 21 through Sunday, April 23.

Friday and Saturday shows begin at 8 p.m. and Sunday’s show begins at 2 p.m.

Using a 10-woman cast, “Disenchanted!” manages to shoehorn several Disney princesses into its 100- minute production. Princesses include Belle, Aerial, Mulan, Pocohantas, Snow White and more.

In this musical comedy for grown-ups, the trio lead an all-princess revue aimed at upending their popular portrayals.

Tickets for the show are $12 per person and may be reserved by calling the theatre at 570-991-1817. This is not a kids’ show as there is explicit language and adult humor.
