PITTSTON — Greater Pittston YMCA recently benefited from a collaborative fundraising effort that brought $34,000 to the organization. The YMCA was able to raise $17,000 from donors Scott Meuser, Sandy Insalaco, Pittston Kiwanis Club and Bill Burke, and that amount was matched by Wilkes-Barre non-profit organization AllOne Foundation and Charities. The contribution is AllOne’s first-ever grant from its new Collaborative Philanthropic Fund. The YMCA plans to use the funds to purchase gymnastics equipment, basketball hoops, a gym divider, childcare supplies, wellness center equipment, pool equipment and other items to improve its health and wellness programming.
