Wyoming Valley Children’s Association is proud to announce a new partnership with the nonprofit organization MamaBird starting in May 2024. WVCA will become a pick-up location for this upcoming nonprofit’s popular programs.

MamaBird was founded in the Fall of 2022 by a group of like-minded local mothers. MamaBird began as a way to “pay-it-forward” and support the women and children of the Back Mountain. The mission and scope of the organization has grown into providing necessities such as diapers, baby wipes and feminine hygiene supplies to families throughout Luzerne County.

WVCA is excited about this partnership, as both organizations share similar missions of helping young children and families in need. Starting in May 2024, WVCA will be an official pick-up location for families enrolled in MamaBird’s programs. Families can choose WVCA as their bi-weekly location to pick up their care packages. Through this program, both organizations hope to build a future where every family can thrive with dignity, regardless of their economic circumstances.
