PITTSTON — The competition dancers from the Pittston David Blight School of Dance recently attended the Talent Olympics at Split Rock Resort.
The Junior Mints competed in the 13-15 age group category. They won first place honors in in modern, hip hop and tap. They took second place in jazz and third in pantomime. The Junior Mints also won the Big Show award.
The Chiclets competed in the 7-9 age group category. They won first place for novelty and took second place in jazz, tap and pantomime. The Chiclets were named Little O Winners.
The Sugar Babies competed in the 3-6 age group category. They won all first place honors in jazz, hip hop, novelty and tap.
The dancers are instructed by Kelli Howatch, Rachel Leandri and Cassie Cerulli. Howatch won the choreography award.
