Snow is in the forecast for the Wyoming Valley this weekend, but little or no snow accumulation is expected.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 32 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fog and mist were reported.

Sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 63. Clears skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 45.

Clouds will increase on Saturday, and there will be a chance of showers after 5 p.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of total rainfall is expected, and the high will be near 61.

Rain is expected before 3 a.m. Saturday night, followed by a slight chance of rain and snow showers. Little or no snow accumulation is expected, and the low will be around 35.

Cloudy skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, along with a 40 percent chance of rain and snow showers. Winds could also gust as high as 28 mph. The high will be near 39.

Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Sunday night, along with a 30 percent chance of snow showers. The low will be around 29.
