A slight chance of snow will linger in the Wyoming Valley through the midweek, but little or no snow accumulation is expected.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 33 degrees as of 7:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fog and mist were reported.

A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 12 p.m. for Luzerne County.

A chance of rain and snow is possible before 9 a.m., followed by patchy drizzle and snow between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Mostly cloudy skies are expected otherwise, and less than half an inch of total snow accumulation is expected. Today’s high will be near 41.

Partly cloudy skies are expected tonight, with a low around 25.

Clouds will increase on Tuesday, with a high near 36.

Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Tuesday night, along with isolated snow showers before 10 p.m. The low will be around 24.

Partly sunny skies are predicted for Wednesday, with a high near 33.

Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Wednesday night, along with a 30 percent chance of snow showers. The low will be around 15.
