Temperatures will continue to drop as the week progresses, and the Wyoming Valley could also see a little more snow.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 32 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fog and mist were reported.

Mostly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 31.

Mostly cloudy skies will follow into tonight, along with a 30 percent chance of snow showers before 2 a.m. Little or no snow accumulation is expected, and the low will be around 16.

Thursday will bring mostly cloudy skies, along with a 30 percent chance of snow showers after noon. Less than half an inch of snow is expected, and the high will be near 18.

Those mostly cloudy skies will follow into Thursday night, along with a slight chance of snow showers. The low will be around 8, but the wind chill could make it feel like -3.

Mostly sunny skies will round out the week on Friday, with a high near 20.

Mostly cloudy skies will carry over into Friday night, and snow is likely after 1 a.m. The low will be around 15.
