The chance of snow will return to the Wyoming Valley into the midweek, but little accumulation is expected.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 22 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fair skies were reported.

Mostly cloudy skies will kick off the new week today, with a high near 30. Those cloudy skies will carry over into tonight, and the low will be around 19.

Light snow is expected on Tuesday. An 80 percent chance of snow is predicted, and around an inch of snowfall is possible. The high will be near 32.

A 30 percent chance of snow is predicted for Tuesday night, but less than half an inch of snowfall is expected. The low will be around 28.

Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Wednesday, along with a 30 percent chance of snow showers before 8 a.m. The high will be near 37.

Those cloudy skies will carry over into Wednesday night, along with a slight chance of snow showers. The low will be around 22.
