The National Weather Service indicated it was 19 degrees as of 7:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and mostly cloudy skies were reported.
Today is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 24. Northwest wind 10 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.
Tonight it will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 13. West wind 7 to 10 mph.
On Sunday the forecast calls for partly sunny skies, with a high near 27.
Sunday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 11.
Monday brings partly sunny skies, with a high near 32.
Monday night’s forecast calls for snow, with a low around 22. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.
