WILKES-BARRE — Kathy Healey from Pittston Area and Chad Lojewski from Wyoming Area will be two of the coaches in the girls opener at the Dr. George P. Moses Wyoming Valley Conference Basketball Senior All-Star doubleheader March 31 at Holy Redeemer.
Healey and her assistants will lead a team that will include Lady Patriots Taryn Ashby, Kirsten Durling and Ellie Bartoli.
Lojewski will join Gary Ferenchik from Wyoming Valley West in coaching a team that will include Lady Warriors Lydia Edwards and Katie Wolfgang as well as Sara Lojewski, Chad’s daughter, who played at Dallas.
The girls game is scheduled for 6 p.m., followed by the boys game at 8.
Healey’s team will also include players from District 2 Class 3A champion Holy Redeemer, Hazleton Area, Crestwood, Tunkhannock, GAR, Meyers and Coughlin.
Lojewski and Ferenchick’s team will include players from WVC Division 1 champion Wyoming Valley West, WVC Division 2 and District 2 Class 4A champion Nanticoke, Berwick and Lake-Lehman as well as Wyoming Area and Dallas.
