Document Shredding event is Sept. 23
West Wyoming Borough, in cooperation with Luzerne County Solid Waste Management, will sponsor a document shredding event for borough residents from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 23 at the borough’s DPW building, R. 926 Shoemaker Ave.
The event will allow residents to shred outdated documents, such as patient medical records, bills, insurance records, financial statements, legal and tax documents, and other sensitive paper documents.
Proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or utility bill, will be required, as the event is free and for borough residents only.
