Line dancing classes with Sue are held at 10 a.m. every Monday. Exercise classes with Catherine and Ruth are held at 9 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Sandi offers chair exercise classes at 11 a.m. Tuesdays and at 9 a.m. Thursdays. There is no charge for these classes.
Ceramic Class with Ann is held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays. Bingo with Ron and Amy is held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays and also from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays. Shuffleboard matches are held at 10 a.m. Wednesdays where the men challenge the women. Helen Shannon is the captain. Craft class with Faye is held at 10 a.m. Thursdays. Wii Bowling with John is also offered.
Geri Fit Fitness Classes Are Being Offered. This exercise program has been proven effective for improving muscular strength, balance, coordination, motor skills, flexibility, arthritis and much more. There is no choreography, dancing, aerobics or floor work used in this program. Most of the exercises are performed seated in chairs. This is a different kind of workout which is fun yet very challenging. There is no charge for these classes which will are held every Tuesday and Friday. Learn about prostate cancer during Lunch & Learn on Sept. 28
EXETER TWP. — Lunch & Learn will be held at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28 with Paw Lawless from the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute who will discuss “Prostate Cancer Detection.”
A nurse from the the Meadows will be available from 12:4o to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28 for blood pressure screenings. Melissa from the Meadows will call bingo at 1 p.m., which is sponsored by the Meadows on this day.
COSMOPOLITAN SENIORS
Next meeting is Oct. 3
EXETER —The next meeting is at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3 at St. Anthony’s Parish Hall. Bakers are Irene Parini, Frank Balcavage, Amy Alpough, Veronica Spliethoff.
Plans are being made for the Halloween Party on Tuesday, Oct. 24 and the Christmas Party on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
Winners of the 50/50 at the last meeting were Edmund Czachor, Lucy Pocceschi, Frank Balcavage, Toni Hall, Frances Paluske. The special game was won by Amy Alpough and the cover all was won by Edith Jones.
The next trip to Sands Casino will be on Thursday, Oct. 19. Call Johanna at 570-655-2720 for information. It is not a requirement to be a club member to go on this trip.
