Paint Pittston Pink evens continue throughout the city of Pittston

PITTSTON — The annual Paint the Night Pink event Friday evening allowed participants to release lanterns in memory of loved ones who have passed away from cancer and in honor of those still battling the disease. The event, held at Pittston’s Riverfront Park, also saw Rebecca Sammon, 39, named recipient of the Paint Pittston Pink Award for Courage given in honor of Sara Mazzitelli.
