PITTSTON — Since Sky Zone Pittston’s opening three years ago, the indoor trampoline park has made tweaks to better market itself to the Greater Pittston community. Some of those decisions can be traced back to General Manager Ed Kearns.

“It’s just trying to improve the customer experience to be more friendly and social media interaction,” Kearns said.

Kearns’ implementations, including a switch to Old Forge style pizza and weekend jumping sessions under ultraviolet light, have helped Sky Zone Pitstton to grow.

Kearns called it “amazing” to see initiatives he worked on receive recognition from the community, particularly Sky Zone’s birthday parties. The Dunmore resident said Sky Zone’s parties are built upon guest’s interactions with party hosts.

“They’re trained to be more upbeat, friendly and come up with their own games,” Kearns said.

Sky Zone Sales and Community Outreach Manager Alicia Habuck said the party host is just one of the many facilitators who handle the establishment’s birthday experience so guests can focus on fun.

“From the booking process until you walk out the door, you have our receptionist, who books the party with you, our event assistant, who checks you in, and your party host, who’s with you when your party is going on,” Habuck said. “There is someone constantly involved with your party to make sure your needs are being taken care of until you walk out the door.”

Habuck said “it’s awesome” that Sky Zone Pittston is getting positive feedback from the community, and she hopes families consider the trampoline park for their next outing.

“It’s a fun, healthy and active way to get your kids away from the electronics and get them out,” Habuck said. “There’s something for everyone here, and we want to make sure every customer leaves with an awesome experience.”

Kearns said sign ups are open for the next Sky Zone Pittston experience.

“They’re going to be launching a teen dodge ball league during glow,” Kearns said.

League members will throw and dodge projectiles while hopping on Sky Zone Pittston’s trampolines under ultraviolet light.
