PLAINS TWP. — The Greater Pittston YMCA honored leaaders who have positively impacted both the YMCA and the entire community at its annual Awards Dinner Nov. 8 in the Keystone Grand Ballroom at Mohegan Sun Casino.

This year’s honorees included:

• Lifetime Achievement Award: Clifford and Ruth Melberger

• Corporate Distinction Award: Susquehanna Brewing Company

• YMCA Spirit of Community Award: The Sidari Foundation

• Sam Milazzo Volunteer of the Year Award: Jennifer Borton

• James & Jean Yates Youth Leadership Award: Olivia Meuser

This year’s recipients all selected for their leadership and service to the community through volunteer activities that bring about positive social change throughout all of Northeastern PA.

Master of Ceremonies for the event was Michael I. Butera, Esq.
