PITTSTON — Members of the Pittston Area girls basketball team, under the direction of Head Coach Kathy Healey, spent Tuesday evening tying scarves, gloves and hats to poles, trees and parking meters on Main Street. The winter wear came complete with handwritten notes from the players and were free for the taking to anyone who needed them. The team holds this event annually as its way of giving back to the community.
