Kravitz named partner at law firm

SCRANTON — Myers, Brier & Kelly (MBK), LLP, is pleased to announce that Nicholas F. Kravitz, Esq., has been named a partner in the firm, effective January 1, 2018.

Kravitz joined MBK in 2008 as a member of the litigation team following a clerkship with the Honorable Vito P. Geroulo, Court of Common Pleas of Lackawanna County. He represents clients in civil and criminal litigation in federal and state trial courts, and in appeals before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the Commonwealth and Superior Courts of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star for seven consecutive years, Kravitz is a graduate of The University of Scranton and earned his Juris Doctor (JD) degree Cum Laude from Western Michigan University, Cooley Law School in 2007. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Lackawanna County Bar Association, and the Wilkes-Barre Law & Library Association.

Kravitz resides in Dupont with his wife, the Honorable Alexandra Kokura Kravitz, and their two sons, Nicholas and Ethan.

PHILADELPHIA — Michelle Golden, West Pittston, recently joined the ranks of professionals during the annual White Coat Ceremony at the University of the Sciences.

Golden continues on the path to a master of science in physician assistant studies.
