• A lease renewal for the Dallas Active Adult Center is among the agenda items set for a vote at the council meeting.
The county aging department wants to renew the lease with Susquehanna Properties Management for the site at 1100 Twin Stacks Drive in Dallas. The new two-year lease, which will begin retroactively on July 1, will be $2,766 per month in the first year and $2,820 in the second, for a total $67,032.
The cost per square foot is $16.60 in the first year and $16.92 in the second.
The Dallas center has been at the site since 2012. Active adult centers are mandated by the state and funded by state block grant funds, the agenda said.
• Also on the voting agenda is Councilwoman Linda McClosky Houck’s proposed resolution requiring the administration to provide monthly division-level budget reports comparing revenue and expenses to adopted and amended budget amounts and previous year-to-date totals.
Pedri has agreed to provide future reports in this format, but McClosky Houck asked her colleagues to adopt the change so it remains in effect regardless of the management personnel involved.
