Locals receive scholarships
SCRANTON — Patrick Dawid, of Exeter, and Charles Kulick, of Pittston, were both recently awarded four-year, full-tuition Presidential Scholarships to The University of Scranton.
Dawid graduated from Scranton Preparatory School and is the son of Ewa and Zbigniew Dawid.
Kulick graduated as valedictorian from Scranton Preparatory School and is the son of Sharon and Mark Kulick.
Fritz honored by Wilkes
WILKES-BARRE — Jordan Fritz, of Avoca, was honored at Wilkes University’s Allan P. Kirby Center for Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship third annual mentor breakfast.
Fritz was named the Kirby Scholar of Communications. Kirby scholars undergo a rigorous selection process involving a review committee of faculty, Allan P. Kirby Center staff and the executive-in-residence.
Golden named to deans list
SPARTANSBURG, S.C. — Lauren Golden, of Dupont, has been named to Sherman College of Chiropractic’s dean’s list for the 2018 summer quarter.
