Pittston Area School District’s Martin F. Quinn Primary Center is promoting school attendance by recognizing students who have perfect attendance for each month. Research has shown that when students improve their attendance rates, they improve their academic performance and chances for graduating. The children are recognized by the principal and are given a “Perfect Attendance Brag Tag.” The children may wear the tag as a necklace or attach it to their backpack. Shown here are students in Mrs. McGuire’s class who had perfect attendance for the month of October.
