Hindmarsh serving internship

Madison Hindmarsh, of Wyoming, a student at King’s College, is participating in a 15-week internship experience with the Office of Career Planning and the Office of Admissions at King’s.

Hindmarsh assists the Office of Career Planning by helping to organize the KWAC (King’s Washington Area Club) trip and a Career in Law and Politics event. With the Office of Admissions, she helps admissions counselors process and analyze student applications, attends interviews, and communicates with prospective students and their families. She has also attended a college fair with an admissions counselor to learn more about the recruiting process.

Hindmarsh is a senior political science major with a minor in criminal justice. She is a dean’s list student and is a member of the King’s College Honor Society, the political science honor society, and the criminal justice honor society. She also assists as an orientation leader and FYE co-leader.

She also works part-time as a teacher assistant for the Luzerne County SHINE Program at Wilkes-Barre Career and Technical Center.
