YATESVILLE — Under a tent provided by the Pittston Area School Board, members of the Pittston Area High School Class of ‘69 braved the cold with the help of hot chocolate, coffee, sandwiches, and cookies at the annual rivalry between Pittston Area and Wyoming Area Oct. 26 at the Charley Trippi Stadium.
The class is celebrating the 50-year anniversary of their life-altering experiences at and graduation from the newly-constructed Pittston Area High School building in Yatesville – a building described by our late governor Robert P. Casey as “the finest in the state.” They are getting together with classmates, most of whom they had never met until they were brought together as seniors in the new building.
