King’s College students honored
Abbigail Menichini, of Avoca, and Abigail Noone, of Pittston, both students at King’s College, were recently part of a five-member team that placed second in the college’s Target Case Competition. The team was awarded $250.
The college received a $1,000 grant from the retail giant to use as prize money for a competition involving teams of students who are given a case study from Target and have to design a solution and present their findings to a panel of judges. The theme of this year’s contest was “Your Authentic Self-Why Diversity Matters at Target.”
Menichini is a junior accounting major and a member of the Accounting Association.
Noone is a sophomore marketing major. She is a dean’s list student. She is secretary of the Student Alumni Association and is a Student Government Alumni liaison.
