The seventh-grade class of Wyoming Area Catholic School recently researched people who have fought for human dignity. The project required each individual student to design a cereal box that educated their classmates about his/her assigned Human Rights Champion. The box displayed biographical information, “ingredients” or characteristics of each person, a game and a prize reflecting the cause of the person studied. Students then gave an oral presentation to their classmates describing the accomplishments of their Human Rights Champion. As a culminating activity, the students enjoyed a breakfast of cereal and juice at school. From left, first row, are Kody Olejnik, Jaden Exter, Vincent Contardi, Stephen Renfer, Benecio Carpentier, Shane Cegelka, Michael Casey, and Nevin Geiger-Gorki. Second row, Alexis Romanowski, Kendall Hadley, Marissa Miller, Talia Lasota, Valerie Wehrun, Lily Bubblo, Melanie Moran, and Olivia Latoski.
