Pittston Area’s Martin F. Quinn Primary Center participates in the S.T.A.R. positive schoolwide behavior program. The letters in S.T.A.R. stand for S (Self Control), T (Taking Responsibility), A (Having a Positive Attitude), and R (Having Respect). Students receive S.T.A.R. cards from faculty and staff when they are caught demonstrating these great behaviors. Each day students who receive a STAR Card draw a random number and place their name on a STAR on our Star Board matching the number drawn. Good behavior is celebrated when ten stars align. The students who placed a STAR in the winning row select a reward.
