The Pittston Area Key Club recently attended the Pennsylvania district convention in Pittsburgh and competed against some of the most active clubs in the state for awards and honors.

The club fared very well, winning many awards and receiving four first-place trophies in Membership Poster, Scrapbook, Single Service Project Gold Division and Major Emphasis Gold Division.

The club’s advisor Judith Greenwald received the Key of Honor Award.

Also, the Division 11 LTG, Michalie Mazurkivich, a Pittston Area junior, was elected to Governor of the District of Pennsylvania, which was a great honor.
