HUGHESTOWN — The Pittston Area Board of Education recently honored students from the Martin F. Quinn Primary Center for excellence in reading and art.
The students pictured above were honored for excellence in the Accelerated Reader Program. In the past five months, each student read and then passed a comprehension test on more than 100 books. Students were asked to design a badge that represents the role of police officers in our community.
