Nativity of Our Lord Parish picnic in Duryea is July 12, 13 14

DURYEA — Nativity of Our Lord Parish will hold its annual picnic from 6 to 11 p.m. Friday, June 12; 5 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13; and 5 go 10 p.m. Sunday, July 14 at the picnic grounds at Sacred Heart, 520 Stephenson St.

Friday’s entertainment will be Flaxy Morgan from 7 to 11 p.m.; Saturday’s entertainment will be the Sperazza Band from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. and Sunday’s entertainment will be John Stevens’ Polka Band from 6 to 10 p.m.

There will be a giant indoor flea market, cash raffle, Bingo, baskets, varsity stands, kids’ games and various other games of chance. There is expanded under cover seating to enjoy ethnic and picnic foods, including wings, hand-dipped ice cream, a bake sale and homemade potato pancakes.

The flea market will be open for business form 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 11 in the Sacred Heart Upper Hall.
