LAFLIN — A Mass celebrating the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, June 28 will be offered at 7 p.m.in the chapel of Saint Joseph’s Oblate Seminary, Route 315.
The Eucharistic celebration will include prayers for those seeking Enthronement of their home to the Sacred Heart of Jesus or renewal of previously received Enthronements.
Saint Joseph Oblate Father Joseph Sibilano will serve as principal celebrant of the Mass, during which Ernie Pappa, communications director for the Sacred Heart Enthronement Guild in the Diocese, will present a talk on the significance of the Enthronement Apostolate.
For nearly 75 years, the Guild has endeavored to spread devotion to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary through home Enthronements throughout the Scranton Diocese.
Music ministry for the liturgy will be provided by the Sacred Heart Singers, with a prelude of contemporary selections beginning at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided after the Mass.
