Mariah Dunn, daughter of Mary Ann and Phil Dunn, of Duryea, became the bride of Ryan Fletcher, son of Suzanne and the late William Fletcher, of Moosic, on Dec. 31, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Church, Scranton.
The Rev. Richard Fox officiated.
Kendle Jemiola, of Suscon, served as maid of honor and Lindsay Dunn, of Duryea, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Dunn and Alexandra Dunn, of Pittston, cousins of the bride; Melissa Gonzelez, of Austin, Texas; and Dr. Catherine Thurston, of Lake Ariel.
Bria Siminski, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., cousin of the groom, was flower girl.
Gary Brower, of Scranton, served as best man. Ushers were Philip Dunn, of Duryea, brother of the bride; Michael Krake, of Philadelphia; Jon Devine, of Scranton; Dr. William Preston, of Duryea; Bill Kerl of Albany, N.Y.; and Ethan Walsh, of Scranton. Ringbearers were Lukas Siminski, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., cousin of the groom; and Philip John Coleman Dunn, of Duryea, nephew of the couple.
A reception was held at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel.
Mariah and Ryan were high school sweethearts at Scranton Prep, and graduated from that school in 2011. Mariah graduated from Pace University in New York City in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders. Ryan graduated in 2015 from King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, with a degree in biology. Mariah works as a behavioral health specialist at the LIU 18 and Ryan works at Lion Brewery as a production supervisor.
The couple took a wedding trip to Europe in May, visiting Italy, Greece, France and Spain.
