HUGHESTOWN — The PALS (prevent ALS) of Jimmy Duffy will hold its 10th annual fundraiser at noon Saturday, Aug. 31 at 219 Rock St. The public is invited.
Relatives and friends of the late Jimmy Duffy will gather for the 10th year to remember this loved family member and good friend. Jimmy passed away in 2009 after a courageous battle from ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease at the age of 67.
It is always a great tribute to Jimmy’s memory to get together and raise money for research for a cure for ALS and to help support those suffering from the disease.
The cost of the event will be $20 for adults and for children over 12. Price includes drinks, food, desserts and games. There will be a basket raffle.
