Work on a bridge that carries State Route 92 (Exeter Avenue) over Hicks Creek was completed Wednesday and the bridge reopened to traffic about 5 p.m. A section of the busy roadway collapsed Feb. 16 due to the breakage of a water pipe owned by Pennsylvania American Water. A large pipe that carries Hicks Creek under the roadway also was damaged. A $1.4 million emergency repair project got underway a few weeks later.
